Collected Words From Fans About Falling Out Of Love With My Career

Amazon Review by Kevin Brusett

Deep, Thoughtful and Full of Hope
Phenomenal journey through challenging opportunities. Loved the short chapters of deep content. Left me pondering my own life and the steps needed to pursue my own passions.

Amazon Review by Paul Barth

A fantastic read that speaks to me!
First, I have to say, the paperback feels so good in my hands! I never thought about the way a book sits in my hands before but for some reason this one does perfectly! A soft but semi grippy texture from cover-to-cover A+.

I crack open the book and the foreword and intro offer a comforting way to get to know the author while setting up the journey she’s about to take me through.

This book relates to me in so many ways! Significant others who aren’t there for you and won’t let you grow, divorce, family, jobs that tear you down, the crossroads of wondering what you’re really supposed to be doing with your life, dealing with anxiety and the roller coaster of emotions that constantly flood your brain when going through these life events.

This book will make you think about living the life you want and how to start it. It’ll also let you know if you’re in a bad point in life, keep going-it gets better. And, my favorite, it made me realize what’s the most important commodity in my life- time.

Give this book a read, I think you’ll learn something about yourself.

More From KC Shomler, Please!
Ordered my copy right after the release. Not unlike other reviews, I also love the cover design, size and feel of this book. I never considered what a book “feels” like, but the cover texture is really unique! With true grit, KC shares with us three decades of her journey not only in the business of healthcare but personal relationships, loves, losses and truths.

Her main life principles are profound, relatable and have personally touched this reader. The surprise shares at the end of the read are fun and original: books, tunes and snacks….

I liked the unafraid and courageous peppering of colorful word choices throughout the book which added authentic emphasis to observations and “ah ha” moments.

Don’t keep us waiting too long for the next book – in the meantime, I will Enjoy the Path!

Additional Reviews

“With true grit, KC shares with us three decades of her journey not only in the business of healthcare but personal relationships, loves, losses, and truths. Her main life principles are profound, relatable and have personally touched this reader. The best review I can give is I am relishing my second read!’ – Darlene

“Falling Out of Love with My Career inspires and encourages me to take a deeper look into myself. The author made me realize that our minds are one of our biggest hurdles in personal growth and positive change. She gives great advice on how to change your relationship with uncomfortable emotions/feelings and how to use them in a constructive more positive way. One clear message I received from the book is that in order to experience (and/or feel) the good in life you must also experience (and/or feel) the bad. The author convincingly tells me to not be scared of my true self, but to embrace it and live it! The author resonated with me as she explained that the measurement of our success is not how much we can buy or what we can buy but by the amount of freedom and time we have. These are the most precious resources we have as humans.” – Paul

“It might seem that the book is intended specifically for healthcare workers—which I am not, but I got soooo much out of this book! I’m also not out of love with my career, but I did reach a rough spot. So reading your book was the perfect timing for me to reconnect with what I love about my career—and since I’m a business owner, I can shape my business and my work however I’d like.” – JC

From The Foreword by Sherellen B Gerhart MD:

“KC’s real-time, candid, messy and vulnerable expressions of her journey through change accompanied by real and confusing emotional angst help us know we are not alone, and everyone has to face transition. Life truly is unpredictable, and it hurts to make choices that involve others. Being a hopeful person by nature as well as a “fixer of problems”, I found her words to provide solace for my self-judgment and seeming internalized failures. The book is raw, honest, and timely.”
